On the 31st of July, our school hosted the Patriotic Group Singing Competition, a delightful celebration of music and patriotism. The event showcased the students' talents and their profound love for the nation.
Our compere, Ms. Cecilia, warmly welcomed the audience and introduced our esteemed judges, Ms. Riya Gonsalves and Sir Vishal from the secondary section. The stage was beautifully set with a wonderful backdrops by Ms. Preeti, adding a festive touch to the event.

Ms. Smita introduced the chief guest, adding excitement to the occasion. The Head Boy and Assistant Head Boy then presented tokens of appreciation to the judges, thanking them for their support and presence.
Ms. Cecilia invited the junior groups to perform first. Standard 1 took the stage with an energetic rendition of Patriotic rhythms setting a lively tone for the competition. This was followed by Standard 2, whose soulful performances filled the auditorium with pride and emotion.

The senior groups followed, starting with Standard 3. Their harmonious songs captivated the audience, showcasing their vocal skills and dedication. The final performance by Standard 4 was powerful and moving, leaving the audience in awe of their talent and spirit.

After the performances, Ms. Riya addressed the students. She praised their outstanding performances, highlighting the emotion and effort evident in each song. She encouraged them to continue exploring their musical talents and to always remember the importance of patriotism in their lives. Sir Vishal then spoke, commending the students for their hard work and the unity displayed through their group performances.
Sir Vishal presented certificates to the junior groups, applauding their enthusiasm and promising potential. Ms. Riya awarded the senior groups, congratulating them on their exceptional performances and encouraging them to keep striving for excellence.

The event concluded with Sir Henry delivering a sincere vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the competition. He thanked the judges, participants, organizers, and the audience for their support and participation.
