Principal's Day
13th July, 2024 | Primary Section
On July 13th, 2024, our school celebrated Principal Fr. Walter Penn's birthday with a grand celebration put together by the committee consisting of Ms. Clarrisa, Ms. Shama, Ms. Cosma, Ms. Crismita, Ms.
Rochelle, Ms. Julie, Ms. Kamali, Ms. Snovia, Sir Vaibhav, Sir Dale, and Ms. Reshma, marking Principals Day in a memorable fashion. The day commenced with the compere Ms.Clarrisa extending a warm heartfelt
welcome to Fr.Walter Penn and the distinguished figures from various departments. Sir Sunil, head of the secondary section, Miss Joicy from the primary section, Miss Dahlia from the academic section, along with
three priests, Fr. Austin, Fr. Angelo, and Fr. Christopher.
The stage was beautifully decorated with a wonderful backdrop by Sir Vishal and Ms. Shama and the celebration kicked off with Miss Clarrisa inviting Miss Crismita to conduct a serene prayer service, setting a
reflective tone for the day as a bible reading was recited. The atmosphere was then uplifted as Fr. Walter and the attendees gathered for the cakecutting ceremony, a moment of joy shared by students and staff alike.
In a gesture of appreciation, Fr. Austin presented Fr. Walter with a purse, a token from the management. Sir Sunil then presented a love offering from the staff, while Miss Joicy delighted everyone by presenting with a
basket of goodies and Miss Dahlia presented a heartfelt birthday card also decorated by Ms. Cosma.
The staff members then treated everyone to a delightful performance and graced the event with their melodious voices by singing a self-composed song. Miss Dalia from the pre-primary section gave a touching speech on Fr. Walter, followed by a spirited dance performance by the pre-primary children to the song "God is so Great." The primary children then took the stage with a lively dance to the Marathi hit "Disla Ga Bai Disla," while the secondary boys brought energy to the floor with their rendition of
"Mera Raja Hai Mahan."
The celebration continued with a quiz on Fr. Walter's life, masterfully conducted by Miss Shama. Participants eagerly answered questions, with gifts presented to those who answered correctly. Fr. Austin delivered a
heartfelt speech on Fr. Walter's life, expressing gratitude to the committee and staff for orchestrating such a wonderful event.
The day reached its crescendo as Fr. Walter addressed the gathering, sharing a few words of thanks and appreciation for the celebration. Sir Sunil concluded the event with a formal vote of thanks, bringing the day's celebration to a close. The Principals Day event was a resounding success, beautifully
celebrating Fr. Walter Penn's birthday with love, respect, and joyful camaraderie, leaving an indelible mark on everyone present.
