Investiture Ceremony
29th June, 2024 | Primary Section
The school investiture was held on Saturday, 29th June ’24. The day started off by seeing the
blessings of the Lord Almighty with the celebration of the Eucharist in the church. The celebrant
being Fr. Walter Penn and Fr. Christopher ably assisted by our very own school children choir.
The main event was held in our school hall beginning with the introduction to the day by our two
comperes, Ms. Selena Rodrigues and Sir Dale. The newly elected council members were guided into
the hall by the principal and the manager in an orderly march. The newly elected council was all
excited to receive the designated badges and sashes.
The officiating of the council began with Fr. Austin Norris leading the new leaders into the oath of
leadership and thereafter bestowing the badges and respective sashes to the newly elected council,
who were all so excited to take up their new roles.
The bestowing of the badges and sashes were done in the following manner:
* Fr. Austin; Head Boy, Asst. Head Boy of Secondary and Primary section
* Fr. Walter; Prefects and leaders
* Sir Sunil; House Captain and Asst. Captains (oath)
* House Teachers put sash and ties for the House Captain and Asst. House Captains
* Ms. Joicy officiated the oath to the Monitors and Asst. Monitors
* Class teachers put the ties for their respective Class Monitors and Asst. Monitors.
Following the badge and sash ceremony, Fr. Walter Penn delivered an address to the newly elected
council, stressing the values of dedication, responsibility, and sincerity. His words resonated with
the audience, highlighting the importance of these virtues in leadership roles.
Fr. Austin Norris then addressed the council, imparting wisdom on commitment and the
significance of impartiality in effective leadership. His insights aimed to inspire the new leaders to
uphold fairness and integrity in their roles.
The day culminated with a memorable photo session capturing the council members alongside the
school management, followed by a rendition of the school anthem, marking the official
commencement of their term.
