Vianney Day

3rd August, 2024 | Secondary Section

On 3rd August 2024, our school celebrated Vianney Day, also known as Clergy Day, with a heartfelt and joyous program in the school hall organized by the Pauline staff. The event honored the priests of our school
and church: Rev. Fr. Angelo Lobo, Rev. Fr. Austin Norris, Rev. Fr. Walter Pen, and Rev. Fr. Christopher Fernandes.

The celebration commenced with a felicitation ceremony, where the priests were honored with bouquets, gift purses, and a cake-cutting ceremony. The students of standard 5th were present as the audience,
showing their respect and admiration for the clergy.

Teachers delivered speeches, highlighting the contributions and dedication of each priest. The program featured a variety of performances, including dances and songs by the pre-primary, primary, and secondary students.

The entire staff joined together to sing a festive song in honor of St. John Marie Vinney, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. Rev. Fr. Austin Norris, along with the other priests, expressed their gratitude for the celebration. Fr. Austin added a special touch by playing the guitar and singing a song, which was warmly received by everyone present.

The event was a resounding success, showcasing the unity and appreciation of our school community for the clergy. It was a day filled with joy, gratitude, and a reaffirmation of the strong bond between our
school and the church.
